The Surfridge story

The lost LA city

Just south of Playa Del Rey, a community dubbed "a playground for the wealthy" emerged in the golden age of the 1920s.

Home to many prominent celebrities, Surfridge was a thriving village of Angelenos who preferred the laid-back culture of SoCal beach life. While Surfridge met its demise through eminent domain in the 1960s, we aim to tell its story through our brand — and revitalize the spirit of this once-thriving community.
